When firefighters arrived at the scene, flames were shooting through the roof and windows of a structure believed to be vacant on Edgewick Road, officials said.

Crews quickly worked to extinguish the flames in the 800 block around 4:35 a.m., although the roof of the house was destroyed.

Firefighters say they believe no one lived there and are working to get in contact with the property owner.
