WATCH: Englewood police chase Walmart theft suspects

Englewood police Sgt. Mike Lang says the two suspects in this theft from Walmart and police chase are in Montgomery County Jail.

They are Danielle Barsalou, 21, of Clayton, charged with theft, and Jonathan Wirth, 18, of Clayton, charged with theft and failure to comply.

Wirth is the alleged driver in the pursuit.

They are accused of stealing hundreds of dollars’ worth of fishing lures and beauty products from Walmart.

EARLIER REPORT

Two theft suspects led Englewood police on a chase Sunday after they were spotted leaving the Walmart on Hoke Road this morning.

The chase started around 10:30 a.m. and ended when the two suspects crashed through a fence on Harrisburg Road, Englewood police Sgt. Mike Lang said.

One of the two suspects was taken to the hospital and the other was immediately taken to the Montgomery County Jail, Lang said.

Both suspects are expected to face theft and failure to comply charges, police said.
