Barn in Miami County is total loss after fire

UPDATE @ 10:05 p.m.:

The barn fire that occurred Tuesday evening on E. Loy Road is a total loss, said Tony Bensman, Fletcher Fire Chief.

The estimated damage of the building and its contents is $120,000.

The cause is undetermined and still under investigation.

FIRST REPORT: 

A barn fire occurred Tuesday evening in the 6700 block of E. Loy Road.

Deputy Jeremy Adams said the fire was well-involved when crews arrived and that the barn only contained equipment. No person or animals were in the barn or injured.

Fletcher Fire Department, along with several other agencies responded to the scene.

The fire was reported around 5:45 p.m.
