WEST CARROLLTON — On Tuesday during the West Carrollton City Council meeting, two residents will receive the Citizen Recognition awards while one police officer will receive the West Carrollton Police Department 2016 Employee of the Year award.

Lisa Stamm and Carl Suchomel are the individuals receiving the awards. Stamm performed CPR on an unconscious patient who was experiencing an overdose. Suchomel is responsible for providing electronic media expertise he has provided the West Carrollton Police Department.

Officer Matthew Harper will receive the 2016 West Carrollton Police Department Employee of the Year award. Officer Harper has led the department in drug-related arrests and other investigations throughout the year.
