Fusian operates 11 restaurants in the Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, and now Toledo areas, including a location on Brown Street near the University of Dayton and in Washington Twp. next to Whole Foods.
Last week’s Toledo opening was a success: the restaurant served 684 guests and raised over $1,400 for a Toledo-area nonprofit, a Fusian spokesman said.

Fusian Sushi was launched in Cincinnati in 2010 by Zach and Josh Weprin and Stephan Harman, who attended Oakwood’s Harman Elementary School and has talked as kids of going into business together, Stephan Harman told this news outlet in 2011.
After a relatively deliberate approach to growing the chain in its first four years, the trio doubled the number of locations in recent years as it expand into new markets of Cleveland and Toledo.
