New Italian restaurant with familiar name to open in Kettering

A new pizza and Italian restaurant could open as early as Friday in Kettering.

Troni Brothers Pizza is gearing up for opening day at 4654 Wilmington Pike in the Wilmington Heights Shopping Center. The 1,600-square-foot space most recently housed "The Don's Pizza," and before that, Papa Kranky's Italian Kitchen and Italian Oven.

Troni Brothers Pizza’s founder is Hisni Troni, whose brother’s family operates Troni’s Italian Restaurant at 1314 E. Dorothy Lane.

If all goes well with last-minute permits and inspections, Troni Brothers Pizza could open as early as this Friday, March 31, Hisni Troni told this new outlet Sunday afternoon.

The restaurant's menu will include pasta dishes, calzones, stromboli, and sub sandwiches in addition to pizza. The new Troni's Brothers Pizza will offer dine-in, carry-out and delivery. For more information, check out the Troni's Pizza Facebook page or call (937) 259-8877.
