The city of Trotwood said in a statement that it is letting past patients or their legal representatives claim their medical records from the 1 Strader Drive office until Aug. 25 and then will destroy the records.
Jeannie Peyton, planning and zoning adminstrator, said the city got possession of the records after the office building where the records were stored was foreclosed on. She said after the deadline to claim the records ends, the city will properly dispose of them.
