The brand is launching an open casting call to find the new legend — and the role is attracting big talent. In August, actor Kellan Lutz tried out for the role in a private audition. Instead, they’ve decided to open the audition process up to the consumer public — male or female.
“I’ve portrayed some iconic characters in movies, and I was really excited to delve into what makes Mr. Clean tick,” Lutz said. “Along with his mental and physical prowess, I appreciate the fact that he is incredibly clean, hard-working, and has a great sense of humor and a killer sense of style. Whoever plays the next Mr. better have a spotless record.”
