Restoration Hardware outlet store opens in Centerville

Restoration Hardware has opened its 36,000-square-foot outlet store at 985 S. Main St.

The Centerville store — the first for the California-based luxury home furnishings retailer in the Dayton region —sells items at a discount, usually between 20 percent and 50 percent, with an ever-rotating stock of home furnishings. As part of its grand opening, the store is offering an additional 30 percent discount on every item through Oct. 11, Shannon Cole, the store’s manager, said Saturday afternoon.

Cole said the store has about 20 employees.

Restoration Hardware renovated retail space that previously housed a Stein Mart store, but has been vacant for at least five years except for a handful of pop-up liquidation sales.

Restoration Hardware operates “Gallery” stores in the Kenwood Towne Center near Cincinnati and in Easton Towne Center in Columbus.

The new Centerville outlet store is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call (937) 291-0584.
