A 2016 Wittenberg University graduate sustained serious injuries April 9 when she fell from the roof of an off-campus fraternity house, according to an email sent to students and faculty.

The incident occurred between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday at the “Fiji house,” according to the email which was sent by Casey Gill, dean of students. The graduate was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton where she was in critical but stable condition, according to the email.

“Her family is with her now, and we are monitoring the situation closely,” Gill wrote in the email.

Gill encouraged students and faculty to speak with campus pastors and residence life staff and also to seek assistance through the counseling service called Talk One-2-One. The phone number for the counseling service is 1-800-756-3124, according to the email.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with our alumna and her family at this time,” Gill wrote in the email. “We will continue to keep you updated as needed.”
