Arrests linked to dead body in Kettering: What we’re trying to find out

Kettering Police announced two men were arrested Sunday in connection to a woman found dead in Kettering.

David A. Detrick, 39, and Charles E. Hall, 65, were arrested Sunday in connection with the investigation and are being held on charges of abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence, according to the city of Kettering’s Facebook page.

The body of a woman found in Kettering Sunday morning has been identified as Tiffany Lynn Argo, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Kettering Police are continuing their investigation after the body was found in the front yard of a home.

Police were dispatched to the house in the 3400 block of Valleywood Drive around 6:40 a.m., according to Kettering Officer John Jung.

Here is what we’re trying to find out involving the death:

1) More about the victim

Little is known about the victim. Argo is 28 years old and her address was listed as Blakely Drive in Dayton, according to the coroner’s office. A Kettering police report also shows her having a Middletown address.

2) Circumstances surrounding death

According to Kettering Police, Detrick and Hall are believed to have moved Argo’s body to the Valleywood location after finding her deceased in their residence. Preliminary findings from the police department indicate Argo may have died from a drug overdose.

3) 9-1-1 call

We are currently awaiting 911 audio from Kettering police to find out when and the manner in which the body was discovered.

4) The two men arrested

We are working to find out more about the two men — Detrick and Hall — and any other possible connections they may have to the victim.
