Wright State could combine its College of Science and Math with its College of Engineering to create a proposed STEM college.
The school of psychology could also merge with the Boonshoft School of Medicine, according to the report.
While the university may merge some of its colleges and schools, it could also create an entirely new one.
Wright State may consolidate several of its health-related programs into something of a College of Health and Human Services, according to the report.

Discussions of school and college mergers are currently underway and a formal reorganization proposal will be presented during an academic affairs and enrollment committee meeting of the board of trustees in February, according to the report.
The merger plans come as Wright State looks to save money following recent budget cuts of $30.8 million. President Cheryl Schrader has said over the next several months the university will undergo a prioritization process in order to decide what operations and programs are necessary and which ones could either be scaled down or eliminated.
