Police said the woman suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.
No one else was in the home at the time of the shooting. Suspect information was not immediately available.

FIRST REPORT
Police are investigating a shooting in Dayton.
The shooting was reported around 6:10 a.m. in the 3600 block of Otterbein Avenue. Police are looking for a suspect in the area.
This is the second shooting Dayton police have responded to early Tuesday. A shooting victim drove themselves to Miami Valley Hospital around 3:20 am.
