Five seniors from the men’s basketball team and numerous other Dayton Flyers graduated Sunday from the University of Dayton.

All five seniors from Archie Miller’s last team took part in the commencement ceremony at UD Arena. Former assistant coach Allen Griffin, now at Syracuse, called the seniors “the class that woke the sleeping giant” on Twiter on Sunday.

Scoochie Smith, Kyle Davis and Kendall Pollard won 102 games in their careers. Charles Cooke, who played his first two seasons at James Madison, was the leading scorer the last two seasons. Walk-on Jeremiah Bonsu was with the team for the last three seasons.

Former assistant coach Kevin Kuwik shared photos of each of the seniors in their graduation gowns on Twitter.
