Northern Kentucky rallied from 10 points down in the second half to snap Wright State’s four-game winning streak at four with a 83-76 victory Tuesday night at the BB&T Arena.

The loss dropped the Raiders to 19-10 overall and 10-6 in the Horizon League. If Valparaiso hangs on against Milwaukee, WSU will be eliminated from regular-season title contention.

Wright State’s Grant Benzinger hit a 3-pointer with 1:19 to go to tie the game, but the Norse (19-10, 10-6) outscored the Raiders 9-2 down the stretch to win their fifth game in six tries.

Junior guard Mark Alstork led WSU with 24 points, while Benzinger had 20.

NKU senior guard Cole Murray had 23 points on 5 of 10 shooting from 3-point range. The Norse were 10 of 24 from beyond the arc and shot 53.7 percent overall (29 of 54).

The Raiders return to action Friday night at home against Valparaiso.
