Former Dayton Flyers guard Vee Sanford will play in the top basketball league in France next season.

Sanford, a Lexington, Ky., native who hit the winning shot against Ohio State in the 2014 NCAA tournament, announced Monday he has signed with the Antibes Sharks in the Pro-A League. Antibes is located on the coast in southeast France, between Cannes and Nice.
