Bengals expect to make Pacman signing official

The Cincinnati Bengals expect to make official their re-signing of cornerback Adam Jones to a three-year contract.

Jones announced the deal on Twitter on Wednesday, writing “I am so happy to say I have agreed to a 3-year deal with the Bengals!!!!”

After putting pen to paper to finalize the deal, Jones is expected to meet with the media today at Paul Brown Stadium.

Jones — who has spent the last six seasons in Cininnati while emerging into one of the top corners in the game, making his first Pro Bowl in 2015 — joins safety George Iloka and linebacker Vinny Rey as key returners among the Bengals’ large group of free agents.

Iloka signed a five-year, $30 million contract, while Rey inked a three-year, $11.5 million deal.
