Local ties: Dayton native Ron Hunter is in his sixth year at Georgia State and had a 103-61 record in his first five years, the most victories in any five-year stretch in program history. The former Miami University star is one win from tying the all-time school mark and has led the Panthers to three postseason tournaments. They reached the third round of the NCAA tourney in 2015, knocking off third-seeded Baylor. He's 379-282 in 22 years, including 17 at IUPUI.
