Wright State rode its best half of the season to dominate Detroit for a 106-88 victory Friday night at the Nutter Center.

The Raiders scored 60 points and committed just four turnovers in the first half to build a 22-point lead and cruised from there to improve to 13-7 overall and 4-3 in the Horizon League.

Steven Davis was one of four Raiders to hit double digits by halftime, and the senior forward finished with a career-high 27.

Davis made 10 of 12 shots and grabbed a game-high EIGHT rebounds.

Justin Mitchell also scored a career high with 22 points, the last two of which enabled WSU to hit the 100-point mark with 2:39 remaining.

Junior guard Grant Benzinger sparked the first-half surge with four consecutive 3-pointers, scoring 16 of his 22 points by the break.

Senior guards Mark Alstork and Mike La Tulip also hit double digits despite poor shooing nights. La Tulip scored 13 despite 1 of 9 shooting from 3-point range, while Alstork scored 11 on 2 of 12 shooting before fouling out.

Detroit fell to 4-15, 2-5.
