YSU rallies to beat Wright State

Wright State blew a 15-point lead Saturday afternoon in falling 80-75 to Youngstown State at the Nutter Center.

YSU junior guard Cameron Morse’s three-point play with 19.2 remaining sealed the win as the Penguins improved to 8-9 overall and 2-2 in the Horizon League.

WSU (11-6, 2-2 HL) lost for just the second time at home this season despite getting19 points from Steven Davis and 18 from Justin Mitchell.

Penguins guard Francisco Santiago scored 18 of his game-high 20 points in the second half, with guard Cameron Morse totaling 14 of his 16 after the break.

The Raiders return to action Thursday at Wisconsin-Green Bay.
