A lot of places sell margaritas, but they are not all made equally.

For fans of the salt, tequila, triple sec, ice and lime juice concoction, here is a quick rundown of some of the best margaritas in town.

It is called The Bad Juan, but this Dayton classic margarita is so good. Elsa’s has been serving the potent drink since 1979. The Bad Juan routinely tops best area margarita lists.

El Meson Restaurant knows how to make a cocktail. The margarita is one of the tastiest treats at the restaurant that specializes in cuisine from Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Have one or two in the restaurant’s Congo Bar or in one of the dining rooms. The restaurant has an extensive tequila selection to boot.

Margaritas are handcrafted at the world fusion restaurant led by chef-owner Margot Blondet. She graduated first in her class from Le Cordon Bleu in Lima, Perú.
