Englewood man killed in single-vehicle crash in Union Monday afternoon

An Englewood man was killed after a crash Monday afternoon on N Main Street in Union.

At around 5:30 p.m., Michael Caylor, 60, was driving a Centerpoint Energy truck southbound on N Main Street, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Near Sheets Street, the truck went off the left side of the road, crashing into a pole and a tree.

Caylor was transported to Miami Valley Hospital North, where he died, the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, the OSHP said.
