Fairborn woman killed in Trotwood head-on crash ID’d

Trotwood police were dispatched around 8:30 a.m. to a two-vehicle crash at Shiloh Springs Road and Twin Wood Drive, according to a release.

A witness in a 911 call said that one vehicle swerved across the center lane and crashed into the other. They told dispatchers that one man was able to get out of one of the vehicles, but another man’s legs were trapped and one woman was unresponsive.

Medics took the two injured people to a local hospital.

Shiloh Springs Road was closed for almost three hours as police investigated, reopening at 11:20 a.m.

Initial reports said the crash was head-on and one person was possibly pinned or trapped.
