The 7 dishes you'll miss at Olive, an urban dive

By Kamron Taylor, Staff Writer

Olive, an urban dive was -- and currently is, until October 10th -- everything Daytonians could have ever asked for in a diner. It has good food, healthy options and that good ol' small town feel we cherish.

Unfortunately, Olive is proof that all good things must come to an end.

Olive announced they will be closing its doors for good on Oct. 10.  While this is sad news to the entire community, we want to celebrate this diner that quickly became such a beloved Dayton staple.

We spoke with Olive owner Kimberly Collett, who shared with us her favorite dishes and meals. These are options you should try if you were part of the lucky few that snagged a spot on the final reservation list.

If you missed getting your reservation, we hope these pictures help you to celebrate one of the best diners this side of Ohio has ever tasted.

Directly from Olive's owner herself,  here are the top 7 dishes at Olive, an urban dive.
