Atkins picks five Bengals to be Pro Bowl teammates

With Geno Atkins serving as one of the captains on Team Irvin, six of the seven Bengals in the Pro Bowl ended up on that squad when the NFL held its fantasy draft for the game Wednesday evening.

Atkins, along with co-captain and Atlanta running back Devonta Freeman, picked wide receiver A.J. Green, defensive end Carlos Dunlap, tackle Andrew Whitworth, cornerback Adam Jones and tight end Tyler Eifert.

Only special teamer Cedric Peerman ended up Team Rice.

Safety Reggie Nelson also was voted to the game but is unable to play due to the knee injury he suffered in the wild-card loss to Pittsburgh.

The Pro Bowl will kick off at 7 p.m. Sunday from Honolulu.
