“The 180th Fighter Wing is honored to extend our salute to Ohio health care workers, first responders, military members and other essential personnel, as a small thank you for helping to keep Ohioans safe,” the Guard said.

All flights will be conducted with regularly scheduled training missions and are subject to change based on mission needs or changing weather, the Guard cautioned.

The fly-overs are scheduled to begin Wednesday in the Toledo area, followed Thursday morning in the Cincinnati area.

Residents are encouraged to observe social distancing while watching the fly-bys.
