A new office described as Dayton’s “first homegrown all-inclusive office space” has opened its doors.

The office at 301 W. First St. only just opened but already has a tenant, said Bob Posner, president of Dayton Offices and a local real estate investor.

The idea is to allow tenants to cover multiple shared costs with a single lease payment — in this case, leases start at $495 a month, the company said in a release.

“We are true all inclusive,” Posner said Wednesday. “Full-time receptionist, phones, Internet, beautiful furniture, large offices, coffee, conference rooms, free parking. We don’t charge extra for anything. Those are all included.”

Posner declined to identify his first tenant, but said: “We’ve been overwhelmed with the response. We’ve been open a week.”

An opening celebration is planned for 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday with live music, food trucks, drinks and tours — and party-goers dressed like characters from the 1990 movie Office Space, according to a release.

The office is aimed at small businesses, open to lawyers, administrators, entrepreneurs and anyone looking to control office costs, Posner said.
