Amazon is looking to hire 120,000 employees for the holiday season, and positions in Ohio are open.

The company announced it is hiring across the U.S. for its fulfillment centers, sortation centers, and customer service sites. Last year, more than 14,000 seasonal positions transitioned to regular, full-time roles after the holidays.

“This is our favorite time of year—we love serving customers during the busy holiday season and we’re excited to bring on more than 120,000 seasonal employees this year to support growing customer demand,” said Mike Roth, vice president of global customer fulfillment.

Positions are being offered in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Throughout the year on average, nearly 90 percent of associates across the company’s U.S. fulfillment network are regular, full-time employees, according to a news release.
