Miller-Valentine Group has 90 acres under contract and company officials hope to close on the project by the first quarter of 2017, with site development work to begin after closing.
The remaining 57 acres will be dedicated to mixed use development, including office and retail space, restaurants, two hotels and a senior living facility, according to Brian Copfer, Miller-Valentine Group’s senior vice president.
“TriHealth is obviously a fantastic anchor for this development,” Copfer said. “It’s a great add to that submarket and the region. It further soldifies the Liberty Twp.-West Chester market as kind of the northen medical hub of Greater Cincinnati.
Specific details about TriHealth’s center, including its cost, size and service offerings, won’t be released until later this summer, according to TriHealth spokesman Joe Kelly.
TriHealth provides clinical, educational, preventive and social programs through Bethesda North, Bethesda Butler, TriHealth Evendale, Good Samaritan, McCullough-Hyde and TriHealth Rehabilitation hospitals and more than 130 other locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
That includes an ambulatory network, physician practices, research division, employer-based health services, hospice care, and fitness and health facilities.
Clement said contracting for the property is “an important step in meeting the needs of patients in the Butler and Warren communities who are increasingly turning to TriHealth for their care.”
“This new facility will make it easier for our growing physician community in Liberty Twp., West Chester and surrounding areas to provide a broad range of health services in one location convenient for area residents,” Clement said in a statement. “We will be able to integrate and expand a number of physician and ambulatory services, now at various locations in the area, into a single, multi-specialty campus offering the best care and service available.”
Copfer said Miller-Valentine is “very excited to be working on a project of this magnitude in that sub-market.”
“We’re very much looking forward to working with TriHealth on their campus, too,” he said. “We really think this is going to be a great addition to the area.”
Copfer said the construction site for the mixed use portion of the project will be ready for construction by the third quarter of 2017.
