The work will be on F-16 avionics panels and faceplates. Work will be performed at each contractor’s facility and is expected to be completed by Oct. 13, 2029.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is the contracting activity.
In Cincinnati, General Electric Co. was awarded a $26.3 million order for LM2500 single shank hot section kits and paired blade parts.
The material will be used to replace worn nozzles and blades during repairs, thus extending the life of engines.
Work will be performed in Cincinnati and is expected to be completed by July 2020. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
