Bar-restaurant in Lebanon could reopen

LEBANON — The owners of the Little River Café, a restaurant-bar along the Little Miami River east of Lebanon, have applied for liquor permits to reopen the former Doc’s Place on Mulberry Street in Lebanon.

Fiducia LRC applied last week to the Ohio Division of Liquor Control for permits to sell wine, beer and liquor for on-premises consumption until 2:30 a.m. at the former Doc’s location, 12-14 Mulberry, according to state records.

Earlier this year, Fiducia, a corporation located in Centerville and headed by Todd Holmes, registered trademarks for the café, as well as catering and general store businesses along the river in Oregonia.

Holmes could not be reached.

Doc’s Place operated for more than a decade, just west of Broadway in the city’s historic downtown district. It closed this year after the name was changed to Bobaloo’s Grille & Tavern.
