BBB names Eclipse Integrity Award winners

DAYTON — Four companies and two non-profit organizations were honored Tuesday night for their ethics, honesty and integrity by the local Better Business Bureau during its annual Eclipse Integrity Awards dinner.

An estimated 550 people attended the ceremony at the David H. Ponitz Sinclair Center. The companies and organizations were selected from more than 240 nominations.

Five local high school seniors also received awards for their high morale character and outstanding ethics. The winners were selected from nearly 70 nominated students.

The business and non-profit winners are:

• For-profit, 51 or more employees: Detmer & Sons Inc., of Fairborn.

• For-profit, 26 to 50 employees: Elements IV Interiors, of Dayton.

• For-profit, 11 to 25 employees: The Ohlmann Group Inc., of Dayton.

• For-profit, one to 10 employees: LifePlan Financial Group Inc., of Miamisburg.

• Non-profit, $500,000 or more in revenue: United Rehabilitation Services of Dayton, of Dayton.

• Non-profit, less than $500,000 in revenue: PFLAG Dayton, of Dayton.

The student winners are:

• William Blincoe, Wayne High School.

• Caitlin Culp, Troy High School.

• Mallory Livingston, Mississinawa Valley High School.

• Stephanie Mee, Miamisburg High School.

• Rachel Slauter, Carroll High School.

Each winning student received $1,000 to be used toward college.

Wright-Patt Credit Union received the Torch Award for dedication to the legacy of great Miami Valley business pioneers.

Cox Media Group Ohio and Dayton B2B magazine were co-sponsors of the event.
