Five local high school seniors also received awards for their high morale character and outstanding ethics. The winners were selected from nearly 70 nominated students.
The business and non-profit winners are:
• For-profit, 51 or more employees: Detmer & Sons Inc., of Fairborn.
• For-profit, 26 to 50 employees: Elements IV Interiors, of Dayton.
• For-profit, 11 to 25 employees: The Ohlmann Group Inc., of Dayton.
• For-profit, one to 10 employees: LifePlan Financial Group Inc., of Miamisburg.
• Non-profit, $500,000 or more in revenue: United Rehabilitation Services of Dayton, of Dayton.
• Non-profit, less than $500,000 in revenue: PFLAG Dayton, of Dayton.
The student winners are:
• William Blincoe, Wayne High School.
• Caitlin Culp, Troy High School.
• Mallory Livingston, Mississinawa Valley High School.
• Stephanie Mee, Miamisburg High School.
• Rachel Slauter, Carroll High School.
Each winning student received $1,000 to be used toward college.
Wright-Patt Credit Union received the Torch Award for dedication to the legacy of great Miami Valley business pioneers.
