Construction is nearly complete for Bed, Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby in Sugarcreek Twp.

A spokesman for the development told this news organization that the two retailers will open at 6134 Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Twp. near Interstate 675 in early to mid-October.

Buy Buy Baby — a chain retailer offering an assortment of baby gear, furniture, clothes and toys — is set to open at 6134 Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Plaza, and will occupy 18,715 square feet. Bed, Bath & Beyond will open at the same time, and will occupy about 28,172 square feet. The space was formerly occupied by Cub Foods.

Bed, Bath & Beyond is a chain retail store that sells bedding, bath towels, kitchen electrics, cookware and storage items.

The building was purchased by PEBB Dayton LLC in January for $2.2 million, and the space will be managed by Florida-based PEBB Enterprises. Aaron Zucker, director of leasing for PEBB Enterprises, told the Dayton Daily News that 16,000 square feet is still available in the balance of the space.

“We are actively negotiating deals with several leading national retailers for the remaining vacancies as well as the outparcel that is available facing Clyo Road,” Zucker told the Dayton Daily News. “This redevelopment has been exciting to execute on as we know it will foster a positive shopping experience for the immediate sub-market.”
