Doug Meyer, co-founder of Brixey & Meyer, said the firm’s plan is to continue its organic growth through strategic acquisitions.
“The No. 1 attribute we look for is whether or not the firm meshes well with our existing culture,” Meyer said in a release.
In October 2015, Brixey and Meyer acquired Lee Knose & Company, another Cincinnati area firm.
“Our goal with a transaction is to not only continue to provide the clients with exceptional service but to also secure additional value to those clients through our unique service offerings. The transaction with Lee Knose & Company exceeded this goal,” Meyer said in a release.
The Kamphaus, Henning & Hood partners will continue with Brixey & Meyer, the company said.
The former KHH firm will continue to run out of its Cincinnati space, 1046 Techne Center Drive, as a second Cincinnati location for Brixey & Meyer, according to the company.
With this latest acquisition, Brixey and Meyer now has 65 employees and four locations. The company was founded in 2002 by David S. Brixey and Meyer.
