The new center will employ at least 15 people initially.

“The West Dayton community has been identified by researchers and community leaders as having a significant number of under-served individuals in need of access to health care services,” the network said in a release Tuesday. “Individuals who are insured through Medicaid, one of the Medicaid managed care products, or have no insurance have difficulty finding medical providers.”

Primary Health said it accepts “all types of insurance,” and uninsured patients will be charged a nominal fee for services, with that fee based on household income.
Primary Health President and Chief Executive Marc Bellisario said the new center will offer access and an array of services under one roof.
“Integration of services allows for better patient outcomes,” Bellisario said in the network’s release. “Dentists, medical doctors and nurse practitioners, LISWs (Licensed Independent Social Workers), dietitians, pharmacists, etc. all work together and have access to the information from all other providers. This type of coordination results in patient-centered care.”
