The project is wrapping up during a surge in construction of assisted living facilties across the region
The 90,000 square foot facility at 6451 Far Hills Ave. includes a dining room, coffee bar, movie theater, exercise room, and “Wholeness of Life” center for worship and fellowship.
The project replaces the Arbor assisted living wing, which had 22 units. The new suites are double the size of the previous rooms.
This is the first major construction project in a decade at Bethany Village, which also has residential living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing home care, and memory care. The nonprofit parent company Graceworks also has a home health agency.
The expansion created 50 new jobs.
C.C. Hodgson Architectural Group designed Crescent Crossing and Messer was contracted to lead construction.
