The property of a Centerville Dunkin’ Donuts franchise has a new owner.

The Dunkin’ Donuts site at 9010 Dayton-Lebanon Pike sold last week for $1.143 million, Montgomery Property records show.

Records identify the seller as GOC Realco LLC and the buyer as a trustee of Charles A. Hickman.

The same seller sold a Riverside Dunkin’ Donuts last October for just under $2 million.

The site just south of the intersection of South Main Street and Spring Valley Pike in Centerville used to be a gas station. This Dunkin’ Donuts site was one of a batch of new donuts locations opening in recent years across the area.

Pat Gilligan, owner of the Dunkin’ Donut franchise rights in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, opened a number of the sites in the Dayton area in recent years, including one at 1864 E. Stroop Road just west of Wilmington Pike in 2014.

That one opened just after the one at 9010 Dayton-Lebanon Pike.

Prior to the March 2014 opening of the Centerville location, the chain’s sole Dayton-area shop was off Ohio 741 in Miami Twp. just north of the Dayton Mall, the Dayton Daily News reported in 2014.

The area had three or four other Dunkin’ Donut locations over the years, but those stores came to the end of their leases and closed, a spokesman for the Canton, Mass.-based company said in 2011, when the chain first started searching for a local franchise owner, the newspaper also reported.
