Crown appoints communications director, combines divisions

Crown Partners, an information technology firm headquartered in Washington Twp., has appointed Dave Nixon as communications practice director, combining the former digital marketing and digital messaging divisions into a new practice, according to a media release.

Officials said Crown is experiencing rapid growth in digital marketing services, including branding, lead generation, search, design and mobile. Those services will now be led by Nixon in one practice, officials said.

Nixon will work with Crown’s commerce, content, communications and analytics practices to drive marketing strategy. creative, consulting and customer insights, officials said. His team will include staff from Crown offices in Dayton, Dallas and Denver.

Nixon, a Dayton native, joined Crown in 2012 as an executive client account lead for major initiatives. He attended the University of Dayton and University of Cincinnati for visual design and communication.

Crown designs and builds websites, supports website infrastructure and helps bring clients more fully into online business. The company is located at 7725 Paragon Road in Washington Twp.
