Dayton Airport partners with media firm

The Dayton International Airport has awarded the concession of in-terminal advertising to Departure Media Inc. Airport Advertising, airport officials announced Monday.

Departure Media is a 100-percent women-owned advertising agency headquartered in Charleston, S.C. The firm specializes in providing strategic, state-of-the-art and competitive advertising options at U.S. airports.

Officials said 2 million travelers pass through the Dayton International Airport annually, which creates the opportunity to reach targeted individuals.

Starting in January, Departure Media will implement a new advertising program to complement the airport’s newly renovated interior architecture. The program will target local, regional and national business, officials said.
