The single-occupant building will be built on spec, with the user yet to be identified. Construction should be complete by spring 2020.
The new construction will add 521,000 square feet of Class A industrial, production and warehouse space to the developer’s portfolio in the area, Miller-Valentine said in a release Friday.
“NorthPoint has already developed over 3 million square feet in the region,” the Dayton company said. “Its other nearby buildings house manufacturing and distribution centers for a diverse range of companies, including Spectrum Brands, known for its auto care products, Alpla, a plastic packaging manufacturer, and retail brands such Crocs and Chewy.”
“Dayton is an easy place for companies to land,” Dave Dickerson, president, Midwest Business Development for Miller-Valentine Group, said in the company’s statement. “The costs are right, plus we offer easy access to major interstates, railways and airports, and a healthy employment market.”
