Collins joins Winsupply from HA-International LLC (HAI), Westmont, Ill., a leading supplier of foundry products, where he served as chief financial officer, vice president of finance, and treasurer. He will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting, finance, tax, and risk management departments. He is a registered certified public accountant in the state of Ohio and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University.
Dice’s position as vice president of Shared Services is a new role at Winsupply. “Most of our back office service departments will roll up under Jeff including accounts payable, credit, payroll and support among others,” Gordon said. He joined Winsupply as the president of Group Services - Dayton in 2004. In 2005, he moved to the corporate office as a financial analyst to work special projects and organize the internal audit functions. He became vice president of Electronic Data Integration in 2008. He was appointed chief financial officer of Winsupply’s wholly owned subsidiary Noland Company in 2011. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University and is a certified public accountant.

Professor receives doctorate
Seth Hamman, professor of computer science at Cedarville University, received his doctorate in computer science from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), on Sept. 15. His dissertation focused heavily on cybersecurity.
“In terms of getting a Ph.D. with an emphasis in cybersecurity, AFIT is a great place to go,” said Hamman. “As a branch of the military, they have been investing in cybersecurity research and education for a long time, and have built a tremendous facility.” AFIT is the graduate-level equivalent of the Air Force Academy.
Hamman’s faculty position at Cedarville allowed him to involve students in research that he included in his dissertation.
Hamman’s degree bolsters Cedarville’s new computer science concentration in cybersecurity, which started this fall. His degree will also improve Cedarville’s chances of obtaining a cybersecurity education certification from the National Security Agency—the program’s ultimate goal.

Dr. Angela Long-Prentice has joined Vandalia Medical Center/Englewood Family Practice, coming from Northwest Dayton Physicians. Dr. Long-Prentice has over 25 years of treating patients in the Dayton community. She received her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Good Samaritan Hospital.

As a resident physician, she served on the Root Cause Analysis Team, focusing on improving patient care and safety in the hospital setting. She has contributed to and conducted research in areas of obesity, dermatology and molecular microspectroscopy.

She is committed to interdisciplinary inquiry and bringing theory into practice through performance. Her original creative scholarship combines her passions of creating live plays with utilizing the craft of theatre as a necessary response to community and civic engagement.
