A new medical office in Troy will have outpatient services for children.

Dayton Children’s Hospital opened the 865 W. Market St. office on Monday, following a $3.5 million remodel of the building.

The office will have lab testing, imaging, and specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy.

The pediatric hospital has been spanning out across the region while also spending millions expanding and renovating its main campus in Dayton. Along with its new Troy office, the hospital also opened an urgent care in December in Huber Heights near existing urgent care centers operated by Premier Health and Kettering Health Network.

The office consolidates orthopaedic and cardiology services that were at other location.

The building will also be a training site for phlebotomy students from Edison State Community College.

“We know convenience is incredibly important to our families, so we continue to look at ways to help them get quality, pediatric care from our expert specialists in the easiest way possible,” Deborah Feldman, Dayton Children’s president and CEO, said in a statement.
