Andrew Pacyna, named Dayton’s interim director, currently serves as deputy healthcare system director for the Cleveland system. He previously served as acting director of the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

After completing his training and first position at the Syracuse VA, Pacyna held positions with the VA Maryland Health Care System and the Clement J. Zablockie VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, according to his biography.
Dietrich redesigned Dayton VA’s organizational chart during her short tenure in the area. Dietrich took over as Dayton VA director in early 2018 after former director Glenn Costie retired in late 2017.
Dietrich was the first female director in the Dayton VA’s 150-year history. She is an Indiana native who holds law and business degrees from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland. Dietrich is a member of the Dayton Daily News Community Advisory Board.

The Dayton VA Medical Center includes the hospital at 4100 W. 3rd St., as well as clinics in Springfield, Middletown, Lima and Richmond, Ind. The system serves about 40,000 veterans. The hospital is one of the oldest in the VA network.
The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System serves about 112,600 veterans at 18 locations.
