DHL’s Supply Chain division works as a third-party logistics provider at that site, where they provide warehousing and distribution center services for a customer at the Englewood facility. The current contract between DHL and that customer is expiring, according to a company spokeswoman.
The spokeswoman said DHL Supply Chain hopes to place impacted employees at other Dayton-area sites operated by the DHL Supply Chain. DHL Supply Chain employs 847 people in the Dayton region, including the 85 associates at the affected site in Englewood.
