The T.J.Maxx store at 131 N. Springboro Pike (Ohio 741) near the Dayton Mall will close Oct. 13, four days before a new T.J.Maxx store is scheduled to open in Austin Landing a few miles south of the existing store, according to Brittany Welch, spokeswoman for The TJX Companies.
The T.J.Maxx store and its companion HomeGoods store at Austin Landing are scheduled to open at 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17 at Austin Landing. The 50,000 square foot “combo” store is on the southeast corner of the 142-acre development, near the intersection of Ohio 741 and Austin Boulevard. HomeGooods also is owned by TJX Companies.
