New Colombian-themed restaurant coming to Beavercreek

A Kettering woman and her family are preparing to open a full-service Colombian restaurant next month near the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek.

La Colombiana Restaurante will be located at 2495 Commons Blvd. It is the brainchild of Ana Rivera, who told the Dayton Daily News the restaurant is very much a family venture, with her husband, Martin, and multiple generations of their family involved in the project.

The restaurant will seat about 44 people and will employ 8, Ana Rivera said. It will be open daily, and will offer carryout in addition to table service. Plans call for La Colombiana to open perhaps as early as mid-January, Rivera said.
