EPIC Technologies relocates within Warren County

A Warren County electronics manufacturer has relocated from Lebanon to bigger space in Deerfield Twp., the company announced Monday.

EPIC Technologies has moved from a 56,000-square-foot Lebanon facility to a 74,000-square-foot existing space at 4240 Irwin Simpson Road in the township. The company said the locations are eight miles apart.

EPIC Technologies, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, said its Ohio Valley Operations focuses on low-to-medium volume, higher mix electronics production. The added square footage will be used to expand the facility’s higher level assembly operations.

The new building is also more energy efficient, with a more open layout to support better production flow, EPIC said.

“We strongly believe that when total cost is considered, ‘Made in USA’ is the right choice for many products. This is particularly true of projects that have lower volumes or variable demand,” said John Smith, Jr., the facility’s general manager, in a statement.

“We’ve structured our engineering and production processes to efficiently serve that market. In the last several years we’ve seen two projects brought back from China and hope our expanded facility will attract more of this business,” Smith said.
