ExpeData to showcase mobile data capture technology

ExpeData, a Miamisburg-based software company, will demonstrate its latest mobile data capture and estimation technology at the 2012 Connections Conference and Exhibition through Friday in Las Vegas.

ExpeData’s naturalSCOPE application harnesses the power of natural input on iPad and Android tablets, as well as top estimation services, to improve accuracy and streamline claims processing, officials said.

The technology allows users to easily collect job site information on tablets using industry scope sheets for water, environmental, roofing and siding damages, or their own business forms, officials said. Information is captured using natural input such as handwriting.

Users also can capture job scope notes, photos and drawings with annotations, voice memos, electronic signatures and GPS coordinates. Third-party supplemental reports also can be ordered directly from the application.

The input collected is immediately interpreted and converted to digital data, verified for accuracy and completeness, and made available in standard outputs for integration purposes, officials said.
