A Fairborn research company has won a $15 million defense contract for computing work.

The Design Knowledge Co. has been awarded a $15,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a project dubbed “Advanced Visualization, Automation and Novel Computing Enterprise (ADVANCE),” the Department of Defense said Monday.

The company will be expected to test and validate the ADVANCE system within a relevant environment of live set networks, the DoD said, with work to be performed in Fairborn and Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, by September 2025.

Based at 3100 Presidential Drive, the company says it makes “complex technology more usable, intuitive, and deployable for government and commercial organizations” in air, space and cyber domains.

The award is but the latest for the company. In May, the business received a five-year, $67 million contract from the General Services Administration.
